Five things worth understanding before you say yes to total knee replacement—and what may be worth discussing first.

Educational workshop only—not a sales webinar. Knee replacement helps many people; this hour is about whether it is right for you, right now.

An adult pausing on porch steps, reflecting on daily mobility
Real life first: pain, activity, and the decisions that follow.

The hour

What you will understand.

Five research findings

What each study measured—and what it does not prove. These figures are not Montana rates.

Five questions to ask

Before a surgery date goes on the calendar, with your surgeon and in any second opinion.

Replacement vs. repair

Different approaches, with clear limits on what emerging options have and have not shown.

Recovery in real life

Work, hunting, travel, family—and why less downtime is not the same as equal relief.

Small group health education workshop in a clinic room
Education before a permanent decision—not a sales pitch.

The journey

From daily pain to an informed choice.

Representative stock photos (adults 60+). Replace with verified clinic photos when you have them.

Pausing during everyday activity
When stairs, work, or hobbies start to change.
Patient and provider in consultation
Sitting down to review options and goals.
Nonsurgical clinic visit
Exploring nonsurgical care when appropriate.

Presenter

Dr. Spence Jahner, DC

Founder and clinic director, Life Enhancement Clinics of Montana. Clinics in Bozeman, Billings, Helena, and Missoula.

This is an educational workshop. It is not a substitute for your orthopedic evaluation.

Who should attend

Come if this sounds like you.

You have been told knee replacement may be necessary.
Knee pain or stiffness is still shaping your days.
You want to know whether more nonsurgical options are reasonable.
You want another informed perspective before a permanent decision.

Not everyone is a candidate for every treatment. Some patients will be better served by orthopedic surgery. This workshop does not promise cartilage regeneration, guaranteed pain relief, or that you will avoid surgery.

Educational workshop only. Knee replacement can be an excellent option for the right patient. Umbilical cord tissue products are not FDA-approved for knee osteoarthritis. Cartilage regeneration and avoidance of a future replacement have not been established. Individual results vary.
